Yo-Yo is chubby and vaguely Alfred E. Newman-esque.
BACKGROUND
Gregory ("Yo-Yo") Yoyonivich appears human but is a robot created by the NYC police department to, of course, fight crime much like RoboCop or the like. He was paired with hapless Detective Alexander Holmes, whose partners ended up in the hospital while Holmes remain unscathed. The only catch was that Holmes could never find out that Yo-Yo was a robot or else Yo-Yo would be deactivated. When, in their first outing, Yo-Yo takes a bullet for Holmes and Holmes opens his partners chest, he finds Yo-Yo is a robot. Holmes states that Yo-Yo was the best darned partner he ever had and swears not to tell so they can stay partners and save Yo-Yo as well. Although Holmes tries to cover for Yo-Yo, this is scarcely a secret to anyone with a brain as the robot frequently visibly and dramatically malfunctions, let alone his natural abilities are bizarre!
PERSONALITY
Unemotional but driven to serve the law, Yo-Yo is curious about humans and their culture. He strives to learn but is awkward and surprisingly unfamiliar at times with human ways.

POWERS/TACTICS
Absurdity is really this character's best trait; anything he ingests he can disable, he serves up power, and can perform almost any sort of office function wherever he is (make copies, faxes, etc. - feel free to update for the 21st century). Examples from the show include, as quoted from http://jumpingtheshark.com/h/holmesandyoyo.htm, "calculators built into ... chests or Polaroids coming out of ... shirt pockets or talking backwards when malfunctioning." It should be noted he does have an excellent deduction skill.
