Cyber Ninja Pirates in Space (uses the in-development Sorta Universal Swashbuckling System)

4-6 Players preferably; game system will be explained

Adventure across the galaxy, from the insanity of the Inner Core where rogue mad scientists and desperados roam unchecked to the Outer Spiral where humans are in retreat from the inexplicable bug-like Myrmesims.  The Artificial Intelligences have left the humans to found their own Robot Nation, exploring their raison d'etre.  Apes, primarily mute, do the bidding of humans - but are also often found among those class of bold, reckless, and, yes, often rather off-kilter adventurers, the Cyber Ninja Pirates.   Expect swashbuckling space opera, not gritty hard sci-fi.  PCs will be highly competent in general with extremely effective specialties, while having contrasting "issues"/disadvantages (which can be actually useful in the game); they will need to work together to survive/flourish.  (Link to more detailed content forthcoming here...)

Player-Characters to be designed by the players in the first session (but characters provided if desired).  Mini-campaign expected to last at least 3-6 sessions, whether it goes longer depends on play group, per the group either continuing with this or using the same system for another campaign.

The New Wild West (uses Dogs in the Vineyard's system)

3-5 Players (could easily be 1 more or less as necessary); game system will be explained as needed; mature themes

It's the 1950s and, after a cataclysmic global struggle which shattered the nation and founded a semi-New Age/semi-Puritan religious theocracy, the United States is rebuilding, pushing back out West.  Caravans of small vans and wood-doored station wagons make their way out to the new-old frontier.  The judges of church and state, known as the Dogs, move along with them, and further ahead, into the small towns emerging in the West, making sure that the citizenry is holding up on the frontier.  Essentially, PCs are judge and jury as they move town to town, exploring moral issues of each community.  More information here about the campaign setting.

Player-Characters will be designed in first session.  Mini-campaign expected to last 9-12 sessions across 4-5 towns.

Featured Monthly One-Shot: Marginally Powered Sit-Com Heroes in the Land of the Lost! (uses HERO system)

3-8 players, ideally, but flexible; game system will be explained as needed, this game will be rules-light in general

Roleplay the Professor of Gilligan's Island, Maxwell Smart, the Flying Nun, the Fonz, Gomer Pyle, or one of many other choices as they are plunged into the strange world of the Land of the Lost!  How will they escape?  Game emphasizes player interaction and fun, not tactical conflict.

Player-Characters will be provided (see online at http://www.realschluss.org/mpsch/PCs), but contact me if you prefer to discuss another character.

Disavowed (uses HERO system)

3-6 players, ideally, but flexible

You are agents for the shadowy International Operations (IO), the organization that, as it says in the Hellboy movie, "bumps back" against those things that go bump in the night.  PCs are specialist type agents who generally  have an unusual ability, nothing superheroic-level, but more restrained abilities, such as perhaps visions, or being literally a character out of a pulp novel, or having a slight vampiric taint, or the like.   More information here.

Player-Characters will be designed in first session.  Mini-campaign expected to last ~4 sessions (may last longer depending on player desires).

Featured Monthly One-Shot:  Office Dogs at the Watercooler (uses Dogs in the Vineyard's system)

3-5 Players (could easily be 1 more or less as necessary); game system will be explained as needed; office politics themes

Characters are employed by the Davidson Oligmueller Group as consultants.  They fly to subscribing companies to audit and determine corporate health.  They understand office politics and try to ensure that companies stay on the straight and narrow, running efficiently and ethically.   In this game, PCs visit a troubled company and straighten it out.  See here for more information.

Player-Characters will be designed in the session.
